Using Operations Research to improve the efficiency of project control

On July 31, 2013, I have given a keynote speech at the 5^th International Conference on Applied Operational Research in Lisbon, Portugal. During this speech, I have reviewed the research on Measuring Time. However, I have updated the content a little bit and included references to Baseline Scheduling algorithms and Schedule Risk Analysis techniques, as discussed in Dynamic Scheduling. Since the conference audiance mainly consisted of Operations Research specialist, the work done by OR-AS (OR = Operations Research, for those who don't know) was an ideal start to go into the details.
