Schedule Assessment Guide is out

Since ProTrack is a tool for dynamic scheduling, aiming at a perfect integration of three crucial dimensions, known as (i) baseline scheduling, (ii) risk analysis and (iii) project control, the summary article we have received from Glen Alleman is too interesting to simply read it without sharing.

Recently, a new "baseline scheduling" guide has been published known as the GAO Schedule Assessment Guide. It is a handbook for anyone looking for advice on how to construct credible schedules. Unfortunately, they don't mention ProTrack as an ideal tool, they even don't mention any tool at all, but you, dear reader, you know that the use of ProTrack to construct credible schedule is too obvious to mention ;-).

In his summary article titled "How to be a Master Scheduler", Glen gives an excellent and easy-to-read overview of ten best practices to construct a credible baseline schedule. It goes without saying that these best practices are heavily supported by the OR-AS scheduling approach and have been incorporated in both ProTrack and P2 Engine.

If you want a quick and excellent overview of the GOA Schedule Assessment Guide, visit Glen's blog here.
If you have more time to read the complete guide, download it here and use the guidelines while using our OR-AS products.

Thanks for sharing Glen!
